It will Happen from Tuesday 28 october till Sunday 2 November 2008. A travel bus will leave Belgium and try to reach Slovenia. In this bus, about 50 young Belgian. Among them, three music bands and other music and travels lovers.

In Slovenia, we will travel around from one concert place to another. One other concert is already planned – at MC Patriot, Slovenske Konjice. We would like to find 3 other concerts date, each for the three bands if possible.

This will be in a festal, alternative, and open-mind spirit. Also, all those Belgian people would be really interested to participate in daytime exchange activities with Slovenian Youngsters (Discussion, sport, workshops,...).

Mad Men’s Team

(Ciney)

Mad Men's Team was founded in 2000. The 8 members of MMT come from a little town in the walloon region: Ciney, which is said to be the Belgian capital of Ska-Punk. Among the other Bands of the town, the particularity of MMT is to dynamise Ska-Punk with electro, fusion, hardcore influences. But also it is the best Ciney Band on stage as – following Gilles (the singer) - "the main objectif of the group is to share real party times with audiances. So, put your Sleepers away, pull your trousers on and bring your couenne!!".

Cop on fire

Cop on fire was borned in 2004 at Leuven – in the Flanders. Since then, they share their energy at every corners of Belgium and around. Their ska /Dub was discovered by audiance of plenty of squats and other alternative concert halls.

Tomahawk and the moonsoon destroyers

(Bruxelles, Gand, Luxembourg)

The 4 musiciens of Tomawak comes from 4 different parts of Belgium. They met in the jazz school of Brussels where is based the band... They play subtle pop pieces of music but with a true jazz savoire-faire, and thus with much experimentation and improvisation. Tomahawk is a quite recent band... which sound experienced! As musicans are very good and universe very personnal. Succes in some good concerts hall in Brussels foretell good future for the band.

About the project
The project was built up by members of three music organisation from Belgium. Rockandgo, which organise monthly rock concerts in a countryside region of Belgium. N4 Record, a micro-label for Belgian Ska-Punk bands. And consomaction, environementalist young comittee that organise music events as well. And the project is supported in Slovenia by Mladinski center Dravinske Doline – Where a Belgian organiser works as EVS.

The aim of the project is first of all to spend a great time of music and party together. But there is also a more serious idea of exchange and meeting. Bands come from differents linguistic region of Belgium and from differents musical scene. And we want to meet and to share with Slovenian people and musicians. We want to promote Belgian alternative scene giving the opportunity to good belgian bands (but neither known abroad nor wealthy) to be involved in a international tour.
