i wanted to talk about freedom of speech, please excuse my poor spelling. the recent ruling by the supreme crt to alow video game Co's. to sell violence to children reminded me of a book i once read." genocide and vendetta"by Lynwood Carranco an Estle Beard, 2 native americans i would ask you to read it .but it was banned from print. there are how ever 6 copies of the book i own 1 4 others are privately owned, 1 is at the Humboldt University library in northern Ca. anyone can check it out. it seems that the use of the word "genocide" was the reason for the banning of this book.so what is genocide. if you kill the babies an the women an distroy the languege an the religion. that dose seem a lil like genocide. there was an artical in the redwood record a local humbokdt news paper that talked briefly about how in the summer of 1881 93 NA villages were extermenated along the eel river.killing every man woman an child with the exception of a hand full of humans that somehow excaped the carnage. the #s they gave were 22,000 people diedan 750 were later rounded up an sent to the new reservation in round vally. my grate grandmother was 1 of those survivors.her mother father brothres sisters grandparents all of her uncles aunts an cousins were killed.she was a young girl that somehow survived an met up with some others that also survived an lived for about a year befor being rounded up an sent to the res. her name was "sekera" wen she got to the res. her name was changed to Amy Smith. she is the only member of my family that was ever alotted land on the res. she sold 15 of her 25 acrs an had 10 acres left wen she died.her land was handed down to my grandmother who was killed by a Dr Barclay wen she was brought to his hospital with a pendacides. he would not give hre pain med or do the badly needed operation it took 11 days to get the BIA to alow her too be moved to another hospital were the Dr ther performed the operation emideatly but she died a few days later of general paratinitas, wen the apendix ruptured befor he could do the operation. i have a copy of the form letter sent to the Dr that did the opperation from the grand jury investigation. my mother died on the res. from cancer witch for 8 years she was told that the pain in her hip was just a pulled muscle.while she was dieing it was determened that there was a hole the size of a quarthe in her hip bone that the cancer ate thru.no investigation there. so back to my tiny piece of fractionated land i own 1/4 of 1/4 of 1 acre that has been handed down thru 4 generations. pres Obama is taking that piece of land from me this year. for my own good of corse. it is not a livable amount of space but it is my haritage. an i dont want to loose it.i know you think slavery ended with the civil war but for NA children it was 1960. until then a farmer or rancher could take NA children to work for them without pay as long as they were sent to school. my brother an sister were in this program. when the USGov was made to stop this practice they came up with this idea. relocation were they took 18 to 25 year old people from the res. an moved them into cities an seperated them from each other.so if they were to bread it would be with someone from another race. at the same time they made a law that saied that you must be a certin degree of NA blood to claim to be a NA. to further desamate our population in 1968 the USGov made another law saying that we had to choose 1 tribe my self i am "Wylaki"Lil lake" an bodega" my mother refused to sign the papers but my uncles chose Wylaki.without the 3 tribes of blood i dont qualify as a NA but the land i own gives me the right to be NA without guestion. now pres Obama claimes to be both what irish american an african american. so i come to you without the freedom of speech or the right to claim more than 1 tribe. i dont however expect anything from you not so much as a mention. but i like your show because of youe honesty an your humor. so if you cant find a joke in here somewere. i will be disapointed in you. sincerly Kenny Whitefoot "injunjo" thank you for your time an the 4000plus characters you alowed me here...
