Glasbena sekcija Unitmuza, pod okriljem UNESCO kluba Piran, v okviru projekta Združen(j)e glasbe/Unite(d) Music v prvem tednu septembra organizira mladinsko izmenjavo v obliki glasbenega tabora, kjer udeleženci raziskujejo ljudsko glasbeno izročilo – turško in slovensko. ZAKLJUČNA PRIREDITEV SE BO ODVILA V OBLIKI KONCERTA IN SICER V TOREK, 8. SEPTEMBRA 2009 OKROG 22h V KONCERTNI DVORANI TOVARNE ROG. Udeleženci tabora, glasbeniki iz Turčije in Slovenije, se bodo obiskovalcem koncerta predstavili na idejno svež in instrumentalno pisan način. Glasbeni projekt, ki so ga zastavili letošnjega aprila v Istanbulu, je študente Državnega konzervatorija turške glasbe v Istanbulu navdušil nad sodelovanjem s slovenskimi mladimi glasbeniki pri obujanju in izvajanju ljudske glasbe, tako slovenske kot turške.

Born in Tasmania, songwriter Julien Poulson fronts The Green Mist (and features members of The Violent Femmes and The Beasts of Bourbon). Worldly Savages bio

Worldly Savages is a musical group formed in 2008 in Belgrade, Serbia. Created by Canadian journeyman artist Eric Muth, the band features notable musicians from Serbia, Canada and the United States. The sound of the music falls into the Gypsy Punk genre made popular by bands such as Gogol Bordello and Kultur Shock mixing world music influences with rock music in an exciting and passionate way.
